Christina
Lake is a year-round recreation destination.
As Canada's warmest
tree-lined lake, activities in, on or around the water are major attractions
during the summer months. Warm waters and sandy beaches attract visitors
year after year. The lake
is only a short stroll down the road from the resort, with the public
beach only a 5 minute drive. Go for a swim, having fun waterskiing
or tubing, or take a relaxing ride in a canoe (rentals
available to our guests, including lifejackets).
Golfers will find two excellent golf courses, the Cascade Par
3 and the 18 hole Christina Lake Golf Course (
golf
packages available), both only minutes away. The Lake also offers
a number of sportiing opportunites including ball diamonds, tennis
courts, lawn bowling and horse back riding.
Hikers and
mountain bikers have plenty of natural surroundings to explore,
with terrain to suite all skill levels. Enjoy a relaxing walk
along the Trans Canada Trail or Kettle Valley Railway, or challenge
our nearby downhill trails. There is plenty to discover whether
your preference is scenic vistas, or back woods adventure.
The area is also great for
ATV enthusiasts, particularly
in May, June and September. We have very easy access to miles
of bush roads to ride. Take a trip to Mount St. Thomas, or a
day trip to the Arrow Lakes. We can guide you to several destinations
or just ride the hills for enjoyment. There are trails and suitable
terrain for the whole family.
